Predator Face said he was bored so I told him to do some filing for me.
His work either reflects his incompetence with basic alphabetizing or dislike of being told what to do.
My guess is a little of both.
I’ve already reported him to HR. His pay is being docked, and he has been put on a “performance improvement plan.”
The way I see that there might also be a third possibility… a ‘toxic work environment’. Leadership does not mean, everything is the employees’ fault. Even the boss does have to work on himself, in particular in different disciplines such as communication, communication, communication – and, last but not least, communication. It is irresponsible to dock the employees’ salary, only because he hasn’t performed the way it was expected. After all, do you know, he’s not talented in different things than just common filing? You should set up an appointment and talk to him again before making touch decisions like that… 😉
